Here's some of the common questions that people ask us, and we've included into this FAQ.
How much must I pay upon registration?
Administration fees which consist of :-
a) $30 deposit (refundable at the end of each tuition year * )
b) $15/yr for course materials per subject taken (non-refundable)
c) the respective course fees for subjects registered for

What if a student join in the middle of the month?
Course fees will be pro-rated if a student registers and
commences lesson at any juncture of the month.
What are the modes of payment?
Payment must be made in cash or cheques.
A receipt will be issued for cash collection. Please retain
the receipt for verification purposes. All cheques
should be crossed and made payable to
'Educe-Logy Education Centre LLP'.
When is the due date for the monthly course fees?
Course fee(s) must be made in full by the 7th of the month
regardless of the number of lessons attended.
What will happen if the course fee(s) is not received by the mid of the month?
If the course fee is not received by the 15th of the month,
the centre reserves the right to withdraw the student using
the deposit to offset the course fees or imposed a $20 late
payment fee which is to be paid together with the course fee(s).
I am an ex-student from Educe-Logy. Do I have to pay the registration fee?
Yes, a student who has withdrawn and re-register with us is liable
to pay for the administration fees. (See above)
Is there discount if I enroll for more than 1 subject?
Yes, the more subjects you enroll with us, the cheaper
your course fee per subject.
What is the duration of each class?
Each Secondary class is 1.5 hrs and each JC class is 2 hrs.
How many lessons do I attend in a month?
The student must attend all the classes scheduled for the month.
If there are 5 classes for the month, the student is to attend all
the 5 classes.
Is the centre closed on Public Holidays?
Yes, the centre will be closed on some of the Public Holidays*.
There will be no make-up lesson unless 75% of the class
request for make-up lessons.
What is the max class size?
The max class size is 12 students per class for Secondary levels.
The max class size is 8 students per class for JCs levels.
However, there can be more students per class in a make-up lesson.
Will there be lessons during the school holidays?
The centre runs an on-going curriculum during the June
and December school holidays. Students are required to attend
the scheduled lessons as per normal during the school holidays
and are liable to pay for the corresponding course fees.
There will be Enrichment courses and Holidays programs during the November School Holidays.
Will the students be given homework?
The students will be given homework and short quizzes most of
the time. The homework and quizzes are not meant to be taxing
but to monitor the students' progress.
Who are the teachers?
Our tutors are made up of a pool of current teachers, ex-teachers, NIE-trained
and very experienced full-time tutors .
What are the qualifications of the teachers?
Our tutors are graduates from Local and Overseas Universities.
with several of them holding First Class and Second Upper
Honours degrees.
What are the class schedules?

The Centre reserves the rights to amend the above schedule,
however the Centre will inform the students prior to the change.
What is a Clinic Session*?
It is a One-to-One/small group Consultation Session with the tutors.
It aims to clarify any doubts in the students' work and
improve on their areas of weaknesses. .
Students do not have to pay for the session but they must
arrange for the session with the centre via email or call us at 8300 8388 .
How many Clinic Session* can each student attend?
Each student can attend up to a max of 2 Clinic Sessions
per month for each subject he/she is taking.
What should I do if I missed a class?
If the student misses a class, he/she can attend a make-up class
within the month but he/she must make prior arrangement with the Centre.
Will I get refund of course fee for missed lessons?
No, there will be no refund made for missed lessons.
The Centre will only consider a refund when the student produces
a MC from a licensed medical practitioner, be away
for holidays for more than 7 days with proof of travel documents
or is hospitalized with proof of medical documents . The refund
will be offset against the tuition fees of the following month.
What is the withdrawal procedure?
A student who wishes to withdraw has to give the Centre 1 month's
notice in writing should he/she decides to stop attending class.
Is the deposit refundable upon withdrawal?
Yes, the deposit is refundable upon withdrawal if the student
gives the Centre 1 month's notice in writing on his/her wish to
withdraw.
