Terms and Conditions
1. Registration Fees
Students who register with Educe-Logy Education Centre for the
first time would have to pay a one-time non- refundable administration
fee of $20 and a deposit of $30 upon registration which is refundable
either upon a month's notice of withdrawal from class, or at the
end of each tuition curriculum year i.e. DEC 2009.
A $15 course material fee for every subject enrolled is payable
upon registration, or at the beginning of each year. It is to
cover the cost of all assessment materials and teaching resources
for each course.
This is non-refundable and paid per student. Should the student
decides to stop classes with us and subsequently re-enrolled in
the same subject (regardless whether the class will be taught
by the same teacher), he/she will have to pay a non refundable
$25 re-registration fee.
2. Registration Procedures
After the registration form is processed, the student is to attend
the next available class of his/her selected choice. For classes
that the Centre is not able to commence one month after the student
has registered, the student may choose to have a full refund or
have the fee transferred to any other subjects.
3. Payment of monthly tuition fees
Fees paid are based on the number of lessons conducted per month
and not on calendar month. Amount of Fees made payable to the
centre per individual class every month will be posted on our
website and on the Notice board in the centre. Payments must be
made by the 7th of every month. A late payment fee of $20
will be levied on students for failure to do so.
4. Missed lesson during holidays or examination period
Lessons will be conducted as per normal during the June and December
School Holidays. (Please refer to the Notice Board or our website
www.educelogy.com for more information.) Students who miss 2 or
more of their lessons (w/o MCs produced) during the holidays or
examination period have 2 payment options:
o Every 2 lessons missed in the same class counted as 1 OR
o Attend make-up lessons within a month (from the date of the
missed lesson) and missed lessons would be charged as usual.
5. Missed lesson without medical certificate
Should a student miss a lesson (provided there are no changes
in the timing of the lesson), that lesson would be counted regardless
of the reasons for the student's absence, including school activities.
However, the student may attend a make-up class for the same subject,
at any other timing (subject to availability).
6. Replacement teachers
The Centre, reserves the right to get a replacement teacher to
conduct the lesson should the original teacher be sick or not
available. For students who refuse to attend, the lesson would
still be charged.
7. Termination of tuition
Students must give the centre 1 month's notice in writing
should they decide to stop attending classes. Any student, who
fails to do so, must compensate the Centre an additional one-week's
tuition fees and their deposit will be forfeited.
8. Refund for unattended lessons
As an administrative rule, tuition fees are non-refundable as classes
incur losses when students fail to attend. For ongoing classes,
should the student decide to cancel the tuition, the fee paid
will not be refundable or transferable.
Refunds will only be entertained if a student produces a Medical
Certificate (MC) from a licensed medical practitioner. The refunded
fees will then be offset against the payment of the following
month's tuition fees. In cases where absenteeism is an absolute
necessity, a 3-day notice period should be given to the centre's
administrators before a refund on that lesson can be considered.
There will be no refund for lessons unattended should the student
decide to withdraw from class in the middle of the month. Students
are encouraged to complete the scheduled lessons for that calendar
month.
9. Holiday or examination break
There will be no lessons on Public Holidays*. Lessons that fall
on these days will not be replaced or rescheduled unless at least
75% of the class agrees on an alternate day and time for the make-up
lessons subject to the teachers' availability.
There will be no lessons for the November School Holidays and
hence, the students do not have to pay for these classes. However,
we will be conducting enrichment courses and holiday programs.
Details will be released at the seminars webpage.
10. Extra Classes
Our centre understands our students may require extra lessons
due to upcoming examinations and hence, upon receiving Students'
requests for extra classes, we will do our best to make arrangement
for them. Please understand that extra classes will only be conducted
when there is at least 75% student's attendance. Fees will be
charged on a pro-rated, per lesson basis, based on the student's
tuition fees for that subject.
11. Miscellaneous
A receipt should be issued for all payments made. Original receipts
are to be shown for refunds of deposits. Schedules are to be made
payable to "Educe-Logy Education Centre LLP".
12. Promotions and Policies
All our promotions are governed by the centre's discretion and
may be terminated without prior notice. The centre reserves its

of the Students and Parents. However, we will inform them of such
amendments via writing and we will put a notice on the Notice
